#1- You just gotta wonder what was in that apple :)
#2- The best part of this movie was it's subtle points, eg: the "wrong turn" twists such as the snippit from the Civil War
#4- What it lacks in sense it makes up for in
J. C. Van Damme and shoot outs :)
Thanks for the suggestions UncRoger and Rachel

I humbly offer Time Bandits, Sleeper, and Star Trek IV for your consideration (off the top of my head).
Yes, I've seen all of those. I hate Woody Allen, sorry will never even try and get over it, Time Bandits, maybe- I remember it more as a kids movie- and I was trying to avoid all Star Trek (even though I do consider myself a fan). There are others, I just need to jog my memory...
Um, I don't recall any time travel in Stargate. Travel, certainly, but only through the first three dimensions. 8^).
hmmm, I guess you're right- I should move this one over to Sci Fi. It's the memory of the allusions to anicient Egypt that muddled my memory.
How about Terminator and T2? Also, there was a movie based on Wells' The Time Machine (wherein Jack the Ripper travels forward?) And wasn't there an actual Time Machine movie? There was also Time Bandits, and Rachel says Peggy Sue got Married has some time travel in it. And one of the movie channels made a movie out of Eugene Ormandroyd's book, The 13th Floor (not the horror movie of the same name.) A Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur's Court.
And the ultimate -- Back to the Future 1, 2, and 3.
Some good additions there. You have confirmed my suspicion that my memory is truly bad :( Thank Rachel for reminding me of "Peggy Sue Got Married" I remember enjoying that and will put it on my list to re-watch soon (gad, another list!) How about Groundhog Day- it is a favorite of mine, and it does have the time element. Time to edit the list, thanks for the suggestions.
If anyone out there knows the title to the Jack the Ripper/Time Machine movie that peaks my interest...would like to watch it.
Not sure if I will add the Back to the Future series- it is time travel and I did enjoy them the first (few) time(s) around but now they belong on the list of movies I've seen too often :)
I believe this movie is the one you're looking for.
Yep, that's the one -- Time after Time. Note that it's not exactly a great movie, more like an afterschool special kind of thing.
Yeah, I saw it on TV several times as a kid, and I thought it was really cool. I have no idea what I'd think now.
How about the British made-for-TV Flip Side of Dominick Hyde?
Have you seen SOMEWHERE IN TIME, with Christopher Reeve and Jane Seymour? Belongs to that tiny sub-genre the sf-romance.
How about THE FINAL COUNTDOWN from the early 80s? A modern aircraft carrier finds itself back in WW2. "Splash the zeros!"
Then there's that icon of serious sf, BILL AND TED'S EXCELLENT ADVENTURE.
And would you consider DEMOLITION MAN (Stallone vs Snipes) a time trave movie? True, they sleep their way to the future - to coin a phrase - but they get there.
I remember Somewhere in Time- and will add it. Will check out the others... Thanks
